THE ART OF LETTING GO
AND TAKING CONTROL
A WORKSHOP BY ARTIST

Open to all who love art and nature
The First Day will be a day of letting go.
We will work with texture and colour experimenting with sight and other senses, if the weather is permitting we will visit a few local land marks,
(Sancreed well-we are going to collect water for our paintings, Carn Euny Ancient Village- we are experiencing drawing in the darkness , Sancreed Church where you can see My favorite Angel, ) you will need to bring warm clothing and good walking boots or wellies.
We will also be using different media's and find out about the interaction of mixed media.
The Second Day will be a day of taking control, We will look and study the work from day one, letting the textures , marks and colours talk, there will be material for inspiration provided or if you like to bring any photo's or prints that inspire you please do so, or if you would like to pop out to the beacon, church or well, if that helps to inspire you please feel free to do so,
We will be building up the painting and using techniques from day one to complete a painting that will be mounted and exhibited at the end of the day, everyone will work at their own pace, some will complete three or four paintings while other may choose to work on one, this day is about listening to what the painting is to be and taking control to create in vision the words spoke to you be the media.
All material will be provided but feel free to bring your own material too.
The cost of workshop is £120 for two days with lunch. (If you have special diet please let me know).
